## What kojiex is

kojiex turns a guided, spoken conversation into a finished CV, a set of interview stories, and
coaching. You talk through your work the way you would with a good coach. kojiex
listens, catches what you undersell, and turns it into documents you can use.

It was built first for New Zealand government employees facing redundancy. An agency invites its
departing people; each person validates with a magic link sent to their email and is guided
through an evidence-based interview. No blank page, no form to fend for themselves with.

The product rests on one rule that is never relaxed: every generated line traces back to
something the person said. No invented numbers, dates, team sizes, events, or titles.
If you did not say it, it does not appear.

## How it works

1. **Start from what exists.** Upload an old CV or start from scratch. kojiex builds a
   career skeleton (roles, education, qualifications) that you correct and confirm.
2. **A guided interview.** Pick the three to five roles that matter for where you are heading.
   A warm interviewer takes you through them one story at a time, in a real conversation. You
   can speak your answers aloud or type them.
3. **Capability interviews.** The method digs into the capabilities behind the stories: what
   you did, what changed because of it, and what that demonstrates.
4. **Your documents, assembled.** The conversation becomes a CV in your own words, in a
   document you can edit, theme with different templates, and print or download as a PDF.

## What you get

- **A finished CV.** Grounded entries in your own words, in an editable A4 document with a choice
  of visual templates. The CV is yours: edit any line, swap the template, download the PDF.
- **Interview stories.** Your strongest material in STAR shape (Situation, Task, Action,
  Result), each story tagged to the capability it demonstrates and paired with the interview
  questions it answers.
- **Coaching.** Feedback on how you came across in the interviews: what you undersell,
  what you oversell, and what to sharpen before the panel. Direct, not flattering.
- **A LinkedIn blueprint.** Copy-and-paste ready text for your profile: headline, about
  section, per-role blurbs, and skills, in the same grounded voice as your CV.

## Add-ons

- **Cover letter.** A letter about motivation: why this organisation, why this role, why you
  are genuinely interested. It is never a re-run of the CV. You paste the job ad, talk through
  your motivation, and edit every paragraph until it sounds like you.
- **Interview coaching for a specific job.** Paste a job description and rehearse exactly what
  it asks for: the capabilities named in the ad plus the standard panel questions.
- **CV update.** A new version of an existing kojiex CV with a couple of changed or added
  roles, without redoing the whole journey.
- **A session with Ben.** The interview method behind kojiex was created by Ben Shaw. You
  can book him directly: he runs the interview himself, one to one, and delivers the result
  personally.

## A spoken product

Pick a voice you trust and they take you through it, one story at a time. It sounds like a
conversation because it is one. The current interviewers are Claire, Paul, and Toni; each has
their own way of drawing the story out, and none of them will oversell you. Or undersell you.

## For agencies and HR teams

kojiex works with agencies and HR teams giving departing staff a genuine landing.

- **Dignified for your people.** A warm conversation, not a form. People leave with a CV,
  interview stories, and coaching they can use the next week.
- **Defensible for you.** Every line of every document traces back to the person's own words.
  Nothing is invented on their behalf.

- **Privacy by structure.** The employer pays; the person owns. An organisation that funds
  access never sees what its people wrote or produced.

## Privacy and data

- Career content belongs to the person, in their own account, kept for as long as they want it.
- There are no public CV pages. Nothing a person produces is ever crawlable or indexed.
- Voice input is transcription only: audio is not retained.

## If your network blocks kojiex

Some organisations' web filters block sites they have not seen before, and kojiex.com is new
(registered August 2026). The page at kojiex.com/support gives an IT team the exact unlock
steps for the common filters (Microsoft Defender, Zscaler, Netskope) and the facts they will
want first. The correct category for kojiex.com is Business.
