About kojiex
Your best material is already in your head. kojiex draws it out in one conversation about your work, and writes it up in your own words: a finished CV, a set of practice stories for job interviews, and personal coaching notes.
Why we built it
Most people are bad at writing about themselves, and the moment they most need to do it is the worst possible time to learn. A role ends, or the ground shifts under it, and suddenly a blank page stands between a capable person and their next job. The usual advice is to list your duties. But nobody gets hired for having had duties. People get hired for what happened because they were there: the project that landed, the team that held together, the number that moved.
That evidence rarely survives the trip from memory to paper. It comes out easily in conversation, though. So instead of a form, we built an interview.
How it works
You pick an interviewer, and you talk. They ask about your standout roles the way a good recruiter would: what was going on, what did you do, what changed because you did it. When you skate over something that matters, they ask again. Then we write it up: a CV built from your evidence, interview stories in the shape panels ask for, and coaching notes on how you come across when you answer.
One rule is locked into everything we generate: every line traces back to something you said. No invented numbers, no inflated titles, no borrowed achievements. If it is on your CV, it happened, and you said so. You review and can edit every word before anything is final.
The method
The interview is not a chatbot improvising questions. It runs on a method built with Ben Shaw, a recruitment and career specialist who has spent his career on the hiring side of the table: reading thousands of CVs, sitting on panels, and coaching people through real interviews. The questions, the follow-ups, and the standard the writing has to meet all come from that practice. If you want the human original, sessions with Ben himself are in the store.
Yours, for life
Your account and everything in it belongs to you, not to whoever paid for it. If your employer gave you a seat, they see what they assigned and nothing else: never your interviews, never your drafts, never whether you used it at all. Your stories stay in your account, and every future CV or cover letter builds on them, so the work compounds instead of starting over.
The same goes for your data. Your words go to our AI partners only to write your drafts, never to train their models. Dictation is transcribed and the audio is not kept. You can export everything we hold about you as one file, or delete the lot, any time, from your account page. There are no public CV pages here and never will be: what you build stays private until you choose to send it to someone.
For organisations
When a team is going through change, kojiex gives each person real, practical support: a seat their employer buys once, and a result the person keeps for life. Organisation admins get a simple console to hand out seats and keep their own records, with the same privacy line drawn throughout. If you are supporting people through change, talk to us.
Who we are
kojiex is made in Aotearoa New Zealand by kojiex Limited, a small company, together with Ben Shaw. We are deliberately small: the tool is self-serve, the commerce is presently concierge, and a human reads every request. Your words stay yours.
